Garbled VoIP call

Have you ever talked to someone on the phone and they sounded garbled? or it just broke up constantly where you could not understand them? So, you knew it must be that new fangled VoIP phone service?

I just got off the phone with a friend who works for a major computer hardware manufacturer that has over a dozen locations throughout the United States. This is what our phone call sounded like. How does a half billion dollar company implement such a system? I would say that many people have a bad impression of VoIP phone systems because of such examples.

My first foray into VoIP over 10 years ago was about the same. But, it doesn't have to be that way. There are many options out there to provide the correct hardware on an installation to make sure that voice gets priority. You just have to know how to set it up and implement it. That goes for selecting the correct hardware and software vendors and having the expertise to do the job. That's where Optiwave Communications shines. I personally have been in the business for over 30 years and it made me think of something I heard in a movie.

To borrow a phrase from the movie "Jerry Maguire".  "Help me, Help you"!

Just my thoughts for the day. Have a good one!
